About Me |
Thanks for checking out my page! I am a San Diego native who works in Los Angeles and San Diego.
I graduated Cum Laude from UCLA with a Bachelors of Arts in music with a concentration in violin performance and a minor in music industry. I have a teaching credential and have enjoyed working at a variety of schools and grade levels while implementing varied teaching modalities such as a pilot project with Apple's iPad band. My rigorous commitment to violin and vocal performance has enabled me to perform around the world, in local communities and receive a Grammy nomination for Best Choral Performance. My minor in music industry has exposed me to the practicalities of bringing music to market and the legal implication of contracts and intellectual property. To accelerate affordable music learning, I was inspired to develop a music technology learning application called NuTune. NuTune is the first music scales application to offer customizable instrument fingering for students and teachers. Through my background and exposure to music education, music industry, performance and technology-based learning tools, I have developed a strong passion to advance education policy. I am pursuing my Juris Doctor at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law and am not licensed to practice law in any state. |
